Anita began dance classes at the age of three. At five years of age, she completed her first tap examination and has gone onto successfully pass all C.S.T.D. examinations in Jazz, Classical Ballet (up to Elementary) and Tap, including both public examinations, being the Dorothy Gladstone Award and Gwen Mackay Gold Cross. In 2004, Anita gained her Teacher's Certificate in Tapping and the following year gained her Full Diploma.
She has previously taught exam classes at the Academy in both Tap and Hip Hop, but at present, teaches end of year performance classes.
Anita has studied a double degree in Biomedical Science and Law at the University of Adelaide as well as a Certificate III and IV in Fitness at the AIF.
Anita is a registered Fitness Professional with Recreation SA and currently works full time at Fitness First Holden Hill as a Personal Trainer/Rehabilitation Trainer (offering one on one and group training) and Group Fitness Instructor (teaches RPM, Zumba, Body Jam, Body Step and Body Attack).
Deanna started dancing at the age of four. Over the years she has successfully completed all examinations in both tap and jazz, including gaining her Teacher’s Certificate in 2001 and full Teacher’s Diploma in 2002; as well as achieving the Jazz Award in 1997. Deanna has completed examinations in Classical Ballet up to and including Elementary.
As if that wasn’t enough, she has obtained a double degree in Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at the University of Adelaide. In July of 2003, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Law Society of South Australia, and was admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia on the 1st of September 2003. Deanna is currently working as an Associate at Minter Ellison lawyers, specialising in workers compensation claims.

Stephanie has been a student of Eastern Districts Academy of Dance since the age of five, and has completed exams up to Modern Jazz 8, Intermediate Classical and Gold Star in Tapping. She has completed both her Teacher's Diploma in Tap & Classical.
She has successfully competed in State Dance Competitions and performed in the Opening of the Annual C.S.T.D Dance Convention. She was a founding member of Spin Youth Dance and a senior member of the company. In 2005 she completed SACE Stage Two Dance Studies outside of the Academy.
She is currently in her final year of university where she is studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Theapy) at UniSA. She hopes to continue her studies specialising in rehabilitation and dance injuries. Stephanie is affectionately known for her caring and nurturing demeanour!
Began C.S.T.D. Tap examinations in 1993 and completed her Gold Star in 2003. She began Jazz exams in 1997 and completed Grade five in 2002.
She completed Year 12 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College in 2003. She completed a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education in 2007 and is currently completing a Masters of Special Education.
Alicia is currently a working as a primary school teacher.
Alicia is interested in working with children that have special needs and is currently working with children with different learning disabilities. She finds both her studies and work challenging and rewarding.
Elyse has been a student at EDAD for 16 years. Over these years, she has completed all tap exams, as well as completing her tapping Dorothy Gladstone Award, and Gwen Mackey Gold Cross. In jazz, she has completed all exam-room exams, and is currently working towards her Jazz Shield. Elyse also hopes to complete her final, major classical exams over the next few years. In 2009, she was one of two students in South Australia to achieve 20/20 for her SACE dance.
Elyse has been teaching at the school since 2006, and she hopes to continue doing so for many years to come. She is working towards completing her Teacher’s Certificate in Tapping, so she can become a qualified teacher. She also hopes to complete these in jazz exams also.
She is currently in her first year of studying a Bachelor of Science (Space Science and Astrophysics) and hopes to complete her PhD in Astrophysics by about 2019. After this, Elyse hopes to continue with research in this field, as well as continuing to teach dance.

From a very young age Helen enjoyed dancing. She joined Eastern Districts Academy of Dance at the age of four, and to this day her love of dance continues to grow.
She has successfully completed all Classical, Tap and Jazz exams, and is currently working towards completing her Teacher’s Certificate in Classical to become a qualified teacher. Helen has successfully auditioned and performed in C.S.T.D convention openings.
Over the years Helen has competed and placed in many competitions including solos, duos and troupes. She is a founding member of Spin Youth Dance Company and was Assistant Director of 2008’s “Fixation”. Helen was also involved in the Special Entry Dance Program at Charles Campbell Secondary School, where she completed SACE dance in years 11 and 12 and has been involved in many whole school productions and dance nights.
She is currently in her first year studying Speech Pathology at Flinders University. She hopes to continue sharing her love for dance through teaching for many years to come.
