Helen Phanos

From a very young age Helen enjoyed dancing. She joined Eastern Districts Academy of Dance at the age of four, and to this day her love of dance continues to grow. She has successfully completed exams up to Intermediate Classical and Gold Star in Tapping, and is currently working on completing her Modern Jazz Grade Six Examination. Helen has successfully auditioned and performed in C.S.T.D convention openings. Over the years Helen has competed and placed in many competitions including solos, duos and troupes. She is a founding member of Spin Youth Dance Company and was Assistant Director of last Season’s 2008 “Fixation”. Helen is currently a student in the Special Entry Dance program at Charles Campbell Secondary School, studying Stage 2 Dance. She has been involved in many school productions and dance nights. Helen would like to become a Classical Teacher, and will be studying for her Teacher’s Diploma next year.
