Our HistoryEastern Districts Academy of Dance was established in 1990 as Eastern Districts Jazz and Tap Academy but in 2000, to celebrate the new millennium, the Academy was renamed to reflect a wider range of dance tuition.
In 2005, the Academy relocated to a purpose built studio to accommodate increasing numbers of students. The Academy has always recognised the needs and desires of students to learn a variety of dance methods and this is now reflected in the wide variety of dance styles offered. |
Our AchievementsThe Academy continues to grow in enrolments, range of dance styles offered and most importantly, our students consistently record very impressive results both through examinations & competitions.

Future Pathways
Not only is our Academy able to cater for many facets of dance, it also provides the opportunity for enthusiastic and promising students to grow on many levels. The Academy prides itself on its ability to recognise the needs of talented students to pursue specialised training outside of the Academy.
Eastern Districts Academy of Dance offers scholarship programs where the specially selected student is able to have his/her unique talent and ability in the field of dance nurtured.
