Modern Dance
Modern Dance was developed in the 20th century and is a more
theatrical dance form, as distinct from the classical style, and
reflects a more contemporary link to music and art.
The Modern style breaks away from the more traditional and regimented
environment of classical, and provides the performer with the
opportunity to inspire audiences with a more experimental approach
involving both inner and out awareness.
Classes for this style are offered as part of our broader curriculum
aimed at performance work, or as a casual option for adults.
